Let's put pen to paper!!!

've been thinking about something to write about for days. I've been drafting paper after paper and nothing comes to my mind at all. Then I said to myself I didn't have to draft away, I just had to sit and write. Is that so? Do writers do that when they are going to write a book or do they think about the story first? Do they think of the characters in the book 3 months before they start criticizing them or either kissing their butts in their own book? Is that a aforethought thing to do?
Maybe one day I'll have the answer. Or if I mind ask they are just going to tell me that each person has their own way to put pen to paper anyway, so why bother, hum?
Well, let's start by thinking of a character. It would have to be a coherent funny outrageous person whose house smelled like marshmallow and sweet hot chocolate and who wore jeans, black and white polka dot blouses, and pinkish glittery high heel shoes. That's a very thoughtful person, but not too common in the real world, so I think it wouldn't work that well. You know what? Thinking back to what I wrote, I kind of just described a little bit of what I wanted myself to be. Anyway, what will be her life like? Will she die at the end? Of course she will die at the end, but the real question is how!!! Writing is such a complicated thing to do... I honor the writers and alike. They do such a wonderful job bringing us books and making their stories fly all over the world for centuries leading us to find ourselves in the characters of their books in the most funny way there could possibly be.
